Man held over indecent exposure in Cumbria

A Kendal man has been arrested after two young girls told police a man indecently exposed himself to them near a school in the town.

Officers were called following reports that a man had chased two girls, aged 12 and 16, into the grounds of St Thomas' School before exposing himself.

The incident happened between 9-10pm on Monday July 26.

A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and released on police bail.
